Espresso, macchiato, americano, cappuccino, latte, brewed – these are just some of the coffee types of coffee baristas usually yell out in coffee shops. Though many argue that coffee can cause harm to your body, there are undeniable and proven reasons that coffee can be good for your health.

There are researches and theories that says coffee is an anti-aging drink. Coffee has known anti-oxidant properties and its caffeine contents help anyone jumpstart their day at work or in school. The result showed that those who drank 3-5 cups a day has lowered their risk of dementia to 65% as compared to those who drank lesser than 3 cups a day. When you age, there is evidence of muscle loss as part of the wear and tear process but drinking coffee in moderation helps preserve your skeletal muscles and it also reduces injury as you grow older.

Coffee has a lot of benefits in the body from preserving your health to anti-aging and even for endurance athletes to avoid injuries. But more it is also important to note that too much of coffee and adding unnecessary calories can also be detrimental to your health. It is best to gauge your coffee experience and keep your coffee preference to black, a little bit of sugar with low-fat milk to make sure you stay healthy as possible while enjoying your favorite drink.
