Between work, school and the occasional hobby to keep yourself sane, you might find a romantic relationship hanging out on the back burner. Having a hectic schedule isn’t a new thing: professional, millennial women have been juggling life and love forever, and in a constantly changing world, a woman should be able to have her cake and eat it too!

Here is a list of Do’s and Don’ts on managing love among other responsibilities.

Do’s:

Plan the First Few Dates

There’s nothing better than showing your significant other what you like to do.

Make Cuddle Time a Priority

Hey, you may be too tired to party, but who’s too tired for kisses and a foot rub?

Pull an All-Nighter

Study dates can be the best way to show your multitasking skills.

Don’t’s:

Overbook

Unless you have a personal assistant, do NOT overbook yourself. No one likes dealing with “stress pimples.” Trust me.

CH-CH-CH-Cheat!

Shortcuts usually have consequences. If you think balancing a huge workload and a decent diet is hard, try keeping your love lives separate.

Make Promises You Can’t Keep

Unless your syllabus and work schedule are set in stone, empty statements (“Next week, I promise!”) aren’t going to cut it. Be honest. Let him/her know that he/she is a priority, but that this hectic lifestyle of yours is important to get you where you need to be in the future. Juggling is possible but, like many things, it takes practice.

You are a strong woman who has a lot to offer the world. Plan to get a lot out of your present so your future can be just as bright. Look for something to gain from your life: a new perspective, or being a role model for a younger woman, etc. Gain anything besides the “freshman 15,” and even if you do gain that, I’m sure we can work something out.

I really like it when individuals arrive jointly and share opinions, wonderful web site, maintain it up.

  • Great Post. Sometimes when all is planned jealousy is making it’s way and ruins everything. This is what happened to me because everything was too scheduled and my boyfriend thought I was cheating on him.
