1. Moss Paint
According to the guidelines provided on Instructables, you will need:
- A small handful of moss
- 2 cups of buttermilk (you may also use yogurt as a substitute)
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- Corn syrup (optional)
Gather as much moss as you can find and wash it to clean it of soil. Break the moss into smaller pieces and put into your blender. Now, you will add 2 cups of buttermilk, 2 cups of water, and a half a tsp. of sugar. If the mixture lacks thickness, add corn syrup. All there’s left to do now is paint your design! Use a paint brush to apply the moss design to where you want it to grow and remember to water frequently. The result is stunning!
2. Use Mirrors to make your Small Space Seem Roomier
Hang mirrors around your backyard so that they will reflect the surroundings. This will make your backyard appear larger than it really is, and it looks absolutely magical.
3. Use Pallets to Create Affordable Outdoor Seating

All you need to do is buy the right size of cushions to finish this look! The perk is you can often find pallets for free, but Home Depot does sell them in various sizes as well.
4. Drill Holes into your Fence for this Adorable Look!

5. Utilize your Outdoor Lighting
Regardless of what shape your backyard is it, if your party is going to be at night, some beautiful lights will add to the ambiance of your party. You can’t really go wrong with a plethora of lights! Head over to your dollar store and stockpile some string lights for your next hangout.
