10 Ways to Continue Learning Once You’re Out of College
Congratulations, graduates! You all have worked hard to make your way out of school for–(let’s be honest here)–most of your lives–and now that you are finally done with school, the last thing I am sure you want to hear is that you have to keep up with your education. But that does not mean that learning has to be boring or a pain in the ass. It should be as easy as switching on an app! So, here are a few of my favorite places to keep my brain on top of learning every day!
Listen Up With Audible.com!
I cannot speak highly enough about Audible. It's cool because you don't have to worry about your brain turning to mush after graduation, you can listen while on your way to and from work, and you can download just about any book. You can check them out for a free trial here. It's so convenient, and despite my own and off relationship with my audible account I always come back to it. Check out my review of Audible and why I plan on keeping it around for good here.
Audible is definitely at the top of my list. This is great for those who want to stay updated on the latest books, news, and magazines without reading all of them! Watch The Daily Show
Let me tell you something about Jon Stewart. If you want to learn something new that is happening right in your backyard, he is the person to go to. He is beyond incredible, and even though his show is aired on Comedy Central, he tells it how it is. He is also great at dumbing down certain things, like whatever is enormous in the government, so that everyone understands precisely what is happening while being incredibly entertaining. That is why I started watching him in the first place! And to be quite honest, I trust his show to give me the real news. Way more than major news networks. It’s a shame he will retire this year, but The Daily Show will still be around!
