I find that I run into many people who are notorious debbie's and nancie's; you know, Negative Nancy and Debbie Downer. What these people do is complain, complain, complain about their lives constantly. Now do not get me wrong, we all get into those moods where we want to just complain a little. But if it becomes a daily thing and your friends are growing tired of your complaining then maybe its time to re-evaluate your life. Here I give some tips on taking ownership over your life and choosing the life you really want.
Remember You Chose This
What many people forget about their lives is that they chose the life they are living. Many people feel more comfortable thinking that the cosmos are just working against them in some profound way, but really it comes back down to yourself. Think about it – you chose your job, you agreed to the salary, you chose the person you wanted to be with, you chose the place you live in, etc. The first step of taking ownership over your life is realizing that you have the power to change it if you are unhappy.
If You Are Unhappy, Change It
Once you realize that you have made all the decisions in your life thus far, can you imagine how your life will change with a little positive thinking? Next time you feel like complaining and feeling bad about your life, just envision your happiness once you do get that job you want, or that new dress you have been dying for. Not to mention it feels good to be happy, or to live up to a goal. Once you put your energies into making your life the way you want it, you won't have time to sit and complain about how unhappy you are.

It's Never Too Late
The thing about happiness is that it is never a goal too far away. We all deserve to be happy and it is never too late to start. Never think that your age, or your job, or anything is a reason why you should not have happiness. Start today! Make a conscious effort to change your energies when you are feeling sad, or angry. Think about what you should be grateful for when you feel like complaining instead I am telling you, it will work wonders.
