It’s scary that research has found over half of millennials hate their jobs and are not engaged at work. In fact, our generation is one of the worst when it comes to hating our work. A lot of people are fed up of doing the same mundane thing every day as they don’t find it rewarding. However, it’s easier than you might think to find job opportunities that are fulfilling! Here are five careers you should consider that are rewarding, and will leave you satisfied at the end of the day.

1. Dog walker

One rewarding career you should consider is being a dog walker. Working with animals makes people very happy. You can’t help but smile when you are taking care of animals. Being a walker is a great way to stay active while ensuing pooches get their essential exercise.

You get to see the area while taking them for walks, and you get to cuddle lots of different dogs. You can either work for a company as a dog walker or start your own dog walking business. You have to rely on word of mouth and good advertising to be able to get customers. It doesn’t always mean you will earn a lot of money until you become more experienced. But you will be happy and find the role rewarding.

Another rewarding career you should consider is as a nurse. If you love helping people, then it will be a great career for you. You get to meet so many people from various walks of life. And you can see them improve while they are in your care which can be very rewarding. Of course, it’s long hours if you do become a nurse. But you will feel like your job is worthwhile and you are making a difference to patients lives. You can specialize in particular areas as well such as intensive care or mental health nursing. You can look online for mental health nurses jobs that you could apply for.

3. Recruiter

You should also consider becoming a recruiter if you are looking for a rewarding career. Finding people jobs is satisfying when they have been out of work. You will feel like you have made a difference to their lives as they are now earning money. You will get to meet lots of different people and will need to find out what makes them tick. The human resources field can also lead to flourishing careers as you can earn a lot if you do well.

4. Nursery Nurse

Another rewarding career you should consider is a nursery nurse. Working with little kids is so much fun. You get to see them grow up and you are helping their development. It won’t be boring as you will always have something to do with them. Working with kids is so rewarding as you are making a difference in their lives. You can also work your way up so have a more superior role in the nursery.

You may be surprised to know that being a dentist is named as one of the most rewarding careers. It offers great career growth, little stress and an excellent income. It appears it’s highly rewarding working on helping someone’s teeth look their best!
