It's hard to identify myself with one attribute when there are many jobs and activities in my life that not only fuel me but are also a big part of who I am. I am a student working on my PhD in Arts Administration. I am an artist who creates in many mediums from canvas to jewelry. I am a consultant; I love the act of helping others. Much like a work of art, it is terrifying to start on a blank canvas but as you add ideas, concepts, color, and innovation, a masterpiece emerges! I am also a fashionista! This last thing has been hard for me to identify with; however, my amazingly supportive friends have reinforced that fashion is self-expression, a confidence that comes from inside. I assemble my life and wardrobe so that I feel empowered!
This month I will be taking all these amazing experiences I have had and sharing them with the readership of Miss Millennia Magazine. I will be sharing three delightful DIY projects to brighten your November!
DIY Project 1
I can’t wait to share the basic wire wrapping techniques that make those wire wrapped bangles so popular! Wouldn’t it be great to learn a thing or two and make a few of those shiny gorgeouss bangles yourself? I’ll teach you the technique and show you the supplies to make it happen.

DIY Project 2
My favorite scarf is the fluffy and full infinity scarf! I even make my regular scarves into infinity scarves, I love them that much. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a special project up your sleeve for holiday gifts? Or maybe just to make for yourself! Well pick your favorite fabric, dust off your sewing machine, and let’s get to work!
DIY Project 3
Tasteful Holiday Décor
I LOVE the holidays, and that is no understatement! I love the fall spices, rustic colors, and changing leaves! I love seeing friends and family alongside the food and fun decorations that come with your holiday home. To me the holidays represent a time of remembering the beauty and struggle of the previous year, and celebrating the incoming year with people who uplift you. With that being said, I also love to do this all in style. It’s easy to get bogged down in some questionable décor and perhaps some singing moose that really shouldn’t come out of storage. Why not create a classic and beautiful home holiday look, all on a young professional’s budget?
