It’s the year of polar opposites for hair in the celeb circles this spring. From blonder than blonde to vibrant colors to brunette bombshells making their way down the red carpet, it seems that the two ends of the spectrum are making a comeback (and for once, overshadowing those attention-grabbing redheads). Check out some of the most exciting color trends for the spring season!

Maybe we won’t ask Kim K. for all of our style advice, but her ballsy switch to bright blonde was just the change we wanted to see. If you’re taking the plunge into a new phase of life (like motherhood, in Kim’s case), why not make some other changes while you’re at it? A major shift can give you new perspective and new confidence to take on the other challenges coming at you. For something this dramatic, we recommend consulting your nearest salon or beauty supply establishment.
Bleached and Dyed
Nothing says individuality more than a bright color dye. Your self-assurance will absolutely shine through when you pick your favorite shade of anything. We love Kelly Osbourne's gorgeous shade of purple!
Not only can you tailor this to your individual style, but you can also choose a bright color to bring out your eyes or highlight your complexion. Try L’Oreal’s Quick Blue Powder Bleach for fast-acting bleach that is also reasonably priced!
Channel Amal Clooney’s “hot and in charge” aura with a super dark brown or black. Dark colors are spectacular for highlighting features (no makeup contouring needed). For an even bolder look, consider dying your eyebrows to match. This level of definition will bring out the beauty of your natural features. While at-home or salon hair dye is always an option (and often a longer lasting one), consider trying a henna dye to test out the color without a long-term commitment.
Remember, dying your hair is a commitment, but it's a fun one. Don't be afraid to try temporary colors, look through a color book, or ask your hair stylist for recommendations!
