Hello Everyone!!
So, this past week has been nothing short of chaotic preparing for Rylee’s birthday party this Saturday. I never realized how much planning and putting together actually goes into planning and hosting a party. But I cannot wait to celebrate with my little darling and see the excitement in her eyes when she sees what all has been done for her special day and all that are there to share in the special moment with her! So, yay for first birthdays and getting it done!!
My next obstacle is accomplishing Christmas, I having been stocking up and storing stuff since the beginning of summer and I pulled out my stock pile last night to wrap some birthday gifts up for Rylee, and just by buying books and toys on sale, such as crayons, coloring books, learning DVDs, abc learning flashcards and etc…it really did add up! I am so glad that I did this because usually I am one to do my Christmas shopping last minute.
Is anyone else out there like me, Christmas shopping at the last minute at times? Or, are you a stock up and save kind of person? I think I like both aspects of it, just because I love the hustle and bustle of the holidays and being around all the crazy shoppers. It’s like an adrenaline rush! I love it. But, I also love being able to just go to my stock pile and pulling from that for any last minute gifts I may need. It’s an awesome feeling either way, and I just love spending the time with family and being able to provide gifts for them. It such a great family experience, and for my family they mean so much because we all get to spend lots of time together!
So, in closing I am going to share some awesome gifts this season for kids Rylee’s age. But, please feel free to share with me your input on any of these toys if your children have any of them or if you are gifting any of these to a small child this season! Happy Holidays to Everyone
-
Rylee has this table and she loves it, it does everything from music, to learning abc’s and numbers and colors and it even has an option for Spanish, such an awesome learning tool.
-
I love these dvd’s because they are interactive and they come with learning cards and other learning tools to use with your toddler, they really help with motor skills, and encourage your child to learn and identify with the things that are happening on the dvd.

Leapfrog has all sorts of different interactive toys to get your children, and this little puppy is just way cute, and you can plug him into your home computer and he learns the child’s name, favorite color and he sings songs, it’s just a really personal and fun toy!!

This Smart trike would make an awesome gift also because not only could the child use it now, but it grows with them! I love functional things like this because you just seem to get more enjoyment and your money worth out of things like this. Mommy approved for sure!
