Making money online sounds like a pipe dream, but in reality, it is a feasible—and sometimes lucrative—option for the modern woman trying to make ends meet. One great moneymaker is the online survey. While completing surveys is an easy task, finding legitimate survey sites is more challenging.

The biggest survey rule is that you should never have to pay to join a survey site. Also, if a survey site asks only for your e-mail address on the first screen, it is likely a scam.

Here are five great survey websites that will earn you money:

Opinion Outpost

This website uses PayPal too (bonus!), but what’s special about Opinion Outpost is that for every survey you complete, they ask you a list of random questions to help you qualify for upcoming surveys.

You are more likely to qualify for most—if not all—of these surveys because they are pre-screened before they show up in your e-mail. You can sign up for Opinion Outpost here.

Pinecone Research

This is one of my favorite survey sites. They use PayPal, the surveys are simple, and you get paid every day. As soon as you complete a survey, expect to see the money in your PayPal account the next day. You don’t have to get a certain amount of money before you can cash out; they give you surveys just about every day and then just pay you.

There are two setbacks to this one. First, if you do not continue to do surveys with them regularly, they will delete your account. Second, you have to find the link to sign up. It changes all the time to keep the exclusivity of the site. You can sign up for Pinecone by going here.

Ipsos I-Say

I definitely did not receive many surveys with Ipsos, but I did appreciate that they give you an estimated time it will take you to complete a given survey. They also have a loyalty program. For every so many surveys, they give you bonus points to go towards your point goal which is pretty awesome! Although I do not remember getting a ton of surveys from them, I did cash out my point multiple times.

I have been paid by them before so that I can vouch for their legitimacy; it may just take a little time before you are paid. This is a good one to have to fill in time between the survey sites above if you are not getting many from the others.  You can sign up for Ipsos I-say here.

Harris Poll Online

I’ve received everything from shampoo and conditioner to a variety of perfumes to try. And as a college student at the time, I was living lavishly with the variety of samples I was getting. The samples were occasional. But they proved to be an excellent additional benefit I was not expecting when I originally signed up. You can sign up for Harris Poll here

Global Test Market

You do the surveys, which come pretty regularly (a few per week) and you get points that can be exchanged for cash or prizes. EASY. Back when they were Lightspeed research, I enjoyed them a lot, just because I got so many survey opportunities.

Not to mention, they were one of my first sites. It’s a tried and true survey site that has been around for years! So you know they are legitimate and stable.  I highly recommend them. Join Global Test Market Here.

So there it is in a nutshell. There are plenty of legitimate survey sites to choose from, but these have been my biggest breadwinners. Some other great sites to join are toluna.com, permissionresearch.com and mindfieldonline.com. Be sure to always keep your eyes open for great survey sites and be aware of scams.
