You should never be embarrassed or shy about admitting that one of your goals in life is to make lots of money. The truth is that there are plenty of people out there who are going to call you shallow, but forget about them. If you want to make fortunes when you’re young, you need to think about what career to pursue. The one you choose will depend on your traits, knowledge, and your level of determination to succeed. If one of these three careers strike your fancy, you’ll be making a lot of money in no time.
1. Lawyer Up
It will take you roughly six or seven years to become a fully qualified lawyer. Don’t forget that (similar to medicine) if you want to be a lawyer, you need to go to school twice. First, you’ll have to get your degree, then you’ll need to go to law school to pass the Bar exam. After doing this, you’re officially able to argue in court and make the big bucks.
So, what do you need to be a successful lawyer? A hell of a memory and a logistical mind, that’s for sure. You need to be able to memorize facts and see causes or patterns in certain situations. If you can do this, a courtroom is where your destined to be. If you raise your profile, you can earn upwards of a hundred grand a year. To boost your business image, we suggest taking on cases pro bono. If you win, you’re going to attract a lot of media attention. Then you can start charging the full fee.
2. Accounting Isn’t Dull, It’s Awesome
Okay, maybe accounting is dull…but where it leads certainly isn’t. To succeed in accounting you need an aptitude in math. If you’re one of those people who can work out large sums in their head in just seconds, accounting is the career path for you. You can make hundreds of thousands a year just by (responsibly) playing around with other people's money. Have a look at a CPA review course online. Once you have this, you’ll be able to work for both banks and investors. You can start to play with serious levels of money and start to rise to the top of the market. Eventually, you might even find you’re gambling millions. Be careful though, because it’s individuals in positions of power like this who caused the Wall Street Crash.
3. Be The Boss, Rule The World
Or finally, how about opening your own business as a new entrepreneur. The problem here is that most startup businesses fail in year one but don’t worry about that right now. The ones that succeed end up making millions before the owner is even thirty. It’s easier than you think to find success too. All you need is an idea that is commercial and easy to promote. Once you have that you can hire a marketing agency. They’ll create your campaign for you and then you can use it to get rich. Is it a gamble? Sure, but if you win, you’ll never have to look back.
