Lady Lennia Chelsea Palumbo: How long does a Master’s Degree take?
Well, technically it is made to be a two year program for those who would go full time and load up their schedules. Some people get out in two years as planned, and others either get out earlier or later. How long it takes for one to get out of graduate school depends on the person and path they choose to take. I struggled with this a lot when I was thinking of going to get my graduate degree. I took a couple days and thought, well, I could take a full time schedule so I can be on campus full time with all my classes right after another and get out early, but then I wouldn’t really be able to work and that would be a lot to deal with. I also thought I would go part time but still load up my days and also work and maybe head to my parents the night before and sleep there since it was closer. I honestly had a lot of thinking to do. Again, I remind you this is why it is great to apply to a school that gives you two years to enroll because if you are like me and all the pieces of moving and getting a job didn’t fall into place till later in the summer then you can always put more thought into it or have a back up plan.
Remember that you are the one who knows exactly what you can handle so if you can not only deal with, but can afford to go full time, then just get it done. If you like to take less classes so you can pay more attention that works too. Whether it takes you one and a half years or four, what matters is that you can doing this to better yourself and broaden your horizons.
Your Lady Lennia,
