For the most part I enjoy working out on it and do feel a great workout. It was easy to put together as well. The only issue I had was I noticed that one of the parts was dirty as if it has been used before.

Not too bad to assemble. Better to turn the machine to match schematics as you put it together. Pro tip: #30 bolts are IN the slide rail. Schematics are just a little off. Works exactly as expected. Everything you could want, and more compact/convenient to store than you thought. Got a good workout the first time I used it. Love how light and quiet it is too. This is the only model I found in this price range with the additional support at the highest stress point of the seat rail. Better than a water rower, given all the pros, especially if you are new to rowing. Still a great workout. Was absolutely full body. Niiiice. Totally worth the money, in my opinion. We'll see how warranty and customer service do, if needed.

I know we all try to buy American, and we roll our eyes at China from time to time - however, the packaging of this product was amazing. I was impressed just over the way it was packaged. They must have hired a top packaging engineer for this - and I am not being sarcastic.

Next, putting this together, was very simple, I did not use the booklet, I used the video online, this made it very easy. It took me the same time to unpack this from the box as it did to put it together, at least it seemed like it. The only part that slowed me down a bit was the display panel has two wires that come out from the back that need to be hooked up, well one of those wires was stuck inside of the panel. I needed to get a little hook to pull it out from the panel in order to hook it up. A very minor issue.

The real test was using the row machine - it has been great. I read some people complained the resistance was not enough, the resistance was perfect - no problems at all. I think those people just did not use the product long enough, as after 5-7 minutes I felt the resistance. Also, a row machine is not made for you to struggle with each pull. I have been getting great workouts. Oh, and ZERO noise!

I highly recommend - great price, great packaging, easy assembly, great product for exercise.

Let's be honest, if you use a rower at the gym and expect this to be the same..... Well, you will be disappointed. The resistance does not feel the same, but that is not to say you cannot get a good workout in. It has multiple resistance levels that are minor in difference, the seat moves smoothly and it is pretty quiet. I am 6'2" and I can move freely on it. It was disappointing that the display module did not work out of the box. Have yet to contact the company for a replacement though (have had the machine for a week). Easy to build, easy to move and good for the price.

The images with a guy on this thing: either they are photoshop-ed, or the guy is 4.5 foot tall. I'm 5'11", with my legs stretched, there's 1-2 inches of travel still available. I believe max height of a user is 6' to 6'1".

Going further, if you imagine in those pictures that an average guy is 50% larger that what's pictured, you will understand that this whole device is tiny. The seat is nearly on the ground. The rail is thin.

Not shows in the pictures - the rollers under the seat are also tiny, and don't look like they will last through a month of daily 30 minute sessions.

Packaging: purposely packaged very tightly, with everything inside in plastic bags and than everything is taped around, right over those plastic bags. The tape makes it impossible to unpack without tearing all the plastic bags and destroying the packaging foam inserts and protectors. So, you can't pack it back into the box, to return this.

Whoever decides to buy this, remember one thing (that should tell you everything else about this machine): THE GUY IN THE PICTURES IS 4-4.5' TALL!

It's a very barebones basic model, for novice users.

Also, I got the Pro model, the orange accents on it didn't match what was pictured. Some parts didn't have them, or were taken from the all-black non-pro model, or the quality control sucks.

If you get this on sale for 80 dollars, and have kids who want to use it, go for it. Otherwise stay away.
