Whenever we feel the need to cleanse and detox our body, the first thing we usually do is treat our physical ailments we with medicines or medical alternatives. 1. Cleanse Through Healthy Eating and Regular Exercise

A healthy eating habit, matched with regular exercise, is crucial to having a healthier body. Your body relies heavily on how you treat it so keep in mind that the food you take in affects the different physiological processes of the body. Consider drinking and eating greens, like spinach, kale, parsley, or watercress. These leafy vegetables are excellent in cleansing your liver and gallbladder. Darker greens, especially, have a positive emotional effect, which is also great for body cleansing. Also, vegetables and fruits are great sources of vitamins and minerals that can help restore your vitality. Exercise is as important as having a healthy diet. If you want to regain your strength and vigor, move around! You don’t have to go to the gym or apply for aerobic classes. 2. Develop and Maintain Healthy Habits

To achieve long term results, maintenance is the key. Healthy eating and exercise, if done consistently, will make you physically fit and glowing for a life time. With that, you must also adjust your sleeping habits and keep proper hygiene. Try to sleep at least 6 to 8 hours a day. This is enough to keep you up throughout the day. As we grow older, our mental capabilities start to deteriorate. Therefore, it is imperative that we prevent this from happening. 2. Meditate

Even if it’s for just a few minutes, try to meditate. You can do this by simply sitting in a quiet environment, breathe deeply and allow yourself to be released from any burdens of the day. Forget about your problems and just take in the present solace as it is. You’d be surprised how it would benefit your mind. Being happy is a great help in achieving a perfect spiritual state because with happiness comes contentment, and this will change how you view yourself, other people, and life in general. You will realize that by being satisfied, you are constantly appreciative of what is happening around you, as well as the current moments that you are living in.

2. Help Out

Helping is the most fulfilling action one can ever do, and it uplifts you spiritually. This does not necessarily mean that you have taken big steps such as volunteering for charity work or contributing large sums of money on different causes. It can be as simple as offering someone a hand, like helping out a friend with his/her relationship problems, carrying a pregnant woman or old person’s luggage, adopting a stray cat, or other similar and simple things. All these simple things will help you learn how to appreciate genuine human interactions and see the bigger picture of life—that there is more to yourself.
