I don’t know about you, but when it’s over a hundred degrees outside I don’t crave a hot coffee. I don’t feel like brewing it and I don’t want to use my mugs. (And I definitely don’t feel like spending five dollars or more on a grande vanilla iced coffee from Starbucks, just saying). But I crave it more than anything else on this planet! And not only do I currently work full time, work two internships, write for the local newspaper, I’m also a full-time wife and dog owner. I NEED MY COFFEE. So I created an ice coffee I can brew every morning (and three times at lunch).

Thank you for supporting Miss Millennia Magazine!**First off, I recommend brewing your coffee a day in advanced. Luckily I have this amazing machine I was gifted at my wedding (thanks, Bella!). It’s called a Keurig. I know there’s some stigma about Keurigs being dirty, but if you take it apart and clean it, you’re fine. And it’s AMAZING! I brew a Starbucks Vanilla K-cup and seal it in a tupperware. The coffee itself might not taste as good, but the caffeine will have a little more kick which is the point.
You’re also going to want a sweet creamer. I personally love the International Delight, Hershey’s chocolate caramel flavor. Like I said in the video, this creamer will change your life. You’re not going to need any sugar, and just a tablespoon will sweeten your coffee.
The last thing you’ll need are frozen coffee cubes. The night before, brew coffee and pour it into an ice cube tray. Let it freeze. And that way, instead of watering down your coffee with boring ice cubes, you’ll actually get more of a coffee flavor the more it melts! So check out this video on how to put it all together.
The calories are no different than a Venti Vanilla Iced Coffee, but you’ll save yourself a few dollars without losing the amazing taste of Starbucks.
