Nice and sturdy protective sleeve
TL;DR / Summary: Highly recommended. Very nice and sturdy protective sleeve with a quality feel. It is slim and, yet, has a lot of space to hold accessories. The inside is very soft and holds a 13" laptop perfectly.I am very pleased with this laptop sleeve. I got it so I could carry my iPad back and forth to my office with me. I tend to carry a lot of 'stuff' back and forth and I needed a case that was durable and could be jostled around with my other items without damaging my iPad. I was quite surprised by the quality of this sleeve. The outside material feels thick and strong and the inside is a soft, fur-like material. I admit, I rubbed my hand over it a few times just because it was so soft! The iPad fits perfectly inside the sleeve, as expected. What I hadn't expected, though, is that my old 13" MS Surface book, with a cover, also fits perfectly inside. I have added a photo of the laptop next to, and inside of, the sleeve for reference. Compared to the light machines available now, my old surface book is a heavy beast. The sleeve didn't even notice. The handle remained strong and secure. Now I'm debating if my surface book has a new home instead of my iPad!I, honestly, don't have anything negative to say about this sleeve. The description in the listing, as well as the color, are very accurate. There's a lot of space for such a small sleeve and I can pack the front pockets full. The zippers are secure, even when the pockets are loaded and, yet, they are still easy to open and close. Curiosity got the better of me one thing, though, and so I decided to test how well this sleeve would repel water (see photo for reference). I spilled some water on the front of the sleeve and waited. Most of the water ran off right away. A couple of drops settled into a fold but it didn't soak into the sleeve. As an experiment, I left it there while writing this review. After fifteen minutes, the drops are still sitting on top of the bag and the rest of the cover, where I had spilled the water earlier, was dry to the touch. I admit, I am impressed. I wouldn't submerge it in water, of course, but if I was ever caught in a downpour, I feel confident my equipment would be safe in this sleeve.
