This is a nice little standalone camera. The user interface is a little limited but it has a lot of features--video, photos, timelapse, etc. There are a lot of options, too.

The battery life is so-so. It goes for about 0.5-1 hours, but if you set it to timelapse that doesn't really improve any. I found that I mostly used it hooked up to power on a tripod, for long timelapses.

I was hoping this was usable as a computer webcam as well, but no luck over USB (there's also an included micro-HDMI port). All it offers is to show as a USB data device so you can grab pictures and videos. I'm not sure what the "wifi" feature is, but it seems like it's some kind of Wifi remote control, nothing very useful.

I wanted to buy a waterproof camera to take on a snorkeling trip later this year without having to spend what I'd have to for a GoPro brand. Got everything set up fairly easily with formatting the micro SD card (not included & purchased separately) and charging the batteries (also not included is the plug that you need to plug the USB into an electrical outlet, but I have an abundance of those lying around). I took video with the camera dunked under water in my bathroom sink, and the waterproof case works great. I'm not impressed with the audio recording volume. It's turned all the way up, and still the sound is minimal when playing the video back, even when I plugged the SD card into my laptop, and I had also tested it by taking some video with the camera out of the waterproof case. The picture quality seems okay, but it seems a LOT of light is needed to capture any sort of good color. I hate to say, but my Galaxy S8 takes better pics & video in low light conditions. Perhaps there's a setting I don't have configured right? Not sure. Also, there are a TON of accessories included, but not being camera savvy, I have not a clue what to do with most of them. Will have to seek help from my photography friends on those because the enclosed instruction manual was very little help. I tried to find one online also, but didn't have a whole lot of success with that either. Overall, I'd say if you just want some video--especially underwater--without the high cost of a GoPro, then this little camera will probably do what you need it to for the low price. If I can remember to, I'll update after my trip.

Summary: Very inexpensive camera that might meet some needs at lower resolutions (1080/60). However, does not come close to the specifications stated (your results may vary) and hard pass for 4k video.

Detailed Experience:
When I found this camera, I really wanted the performance stated to be true-- would meet nearly everything I wanted for a 10th of the big name cameras’ price. I intended to video hockey games with the camera affixed to the glass so didn’t need the optical image stabilization and with ample lighting the sensor could be less sensitive. With the stated 170 degree field of view (FOV), only needed 2 cameras to cover the sheet of ice, so I bought 2.

Initial impressions: Camera build seems fine relative to the price. Slightly smaller than my GoPro, lighter weight, mostly plastic build, pointed corners vs round of GoPro, similar size screen (not touch), and immediate access to connectors. Comes with 2 batteries, a nice clear underwater protective case, and a plethora of mounting options (albeit a couple I would claim are not very sturdy for action recordings), a remote recording toggle and a soft sided carrying case.

One battery was in the camera, one external. However, to remove the battery from the camera requires a common screwdriver, e.g. really don’t find this as an acceptable solution. I tried my fingernail (not sturdy enough) and coins (too thick) without success. Kinda goes against the grain of on-the-go, action camera especially in light of the observed limited battery life. Using the 2 cameras across 6 games, I averaged 64min at 1080/60; 55min at 2.7k/30 and 40min at 4k/30 from a fully charged to completely depleted battery (camera shutdown) with the only actions performed setting the video resolution and recording. This is vastly different than the stated Apexcam response of “support 190 minutes working even on 4k video mode”, i.e. even if they were stating duration across 2 batteries, my results were less than 50%! FYI, WIFI and remote control were turned off with screen saver on 1min.
An annoyance (not a deal breaker for me), was that the date/time had to be reset each instance of a battery change.

Video:
4k/30: First thing noted is that even though it was stated to be 30Hz video capture, camera appears to use a double frame, e.g. 1 sample for 2 frames, so effectively the video is at 15Hz. I verified by clicking frame by frame in VLC media player. Very disappointing and quite frankly it nearly triggers nausea (feels more like a strobing effect). In a very well lit rink, the fast images appears blurred/streaking (players crossing in the video let alone the puck movement). Thinking that this must be a firmware issue, I tried researching. My camera was Model: M80 Air Firmware: JL15IP79RGM_1.5 updated 20201001. While I could not find any updates (in fact I couldn’t find any), I did see similar complaints of duplicating frames with other OEMs with amazingly comparable cameras.
Likewise, there was a glare about the lights. In the first game I used the included clear case (it seems very ruggid and protects the camera). Thinking that this could have been the culprit for the glare, second and later games I used a different mount. While the glare was slightly less, it was present across all video settings on auto (white balance, ISO). While I could have tried alternate contrast and ISO settings, I found the camera unacceptable for my use, and not worth the effort to further refine.
While the FOV was stated to be 170 deg, my measurements were dramatically reduced at 80 degs.

2.7k/30: While the video frame rate was MUCH better than the 4k, the blurring of faster moving play persisted and the glare against the lights was present (now without the clear case). Unfortunately, the measured FOV was even worse at less than 55 deg.

1080/60: There still was some blurring of faster moving play, but this was this best mode in my opinion. There was less clarity of the players (lower resolution), but could see the action better and the FOV was measured at 80 deg. Instead of mounting at the blue lines, I placed behind the goalies to see their point of view.

Picture Quality: Didn’t meet my expectations at any resolution and was far from the stated spec.
Easy to Use: In general, the GUI was fine, but the battery case was very annoying. Some of the mounts didn’t really lock in place, e.g. would be a problem for a camera in motion.
Value for Money: This was the least expensive camera, so went in with low expectations. Even with that consideration, there was only one video mode (1080/60) that was close to acceptable.

If you are looking for an inexpensive 1080/60 camera, then may consider this one (although the battery cover would still annoy me). Otherwise, hard pass. PS. I intend to return these since they weren’t even close to meeting the specs.

This camera is easy to use, has very intuitive menu screens, many exposure options to fulfill your creative wishes. This is a tremendous value for $50.00. It is not a Go Pro but, neither is the price. Use it on your bicycle, your car, your snowboard helmet, your free diving or scuba diving adventure - pretty versatile, considering the cost. Some of my videos were not as smooth as I would like and showed some distortion but, I have been playing them back through my computer monitor and it could be the computer's fault or the SD card's. TIme will tell. I am anxious to take it diving and see how it works. The water-proof enclosure's buttons may prove to be inoperable while wearing 5mm neoprene gloves. So far, I am very pleased with the features of this camera for the price!

Estamos ante una camara deportiva que compre como modelo secundario para situaciones extremas, como ponerla en un drone, bici o similar y no me duela demasiado si la pierdo, a mi me parece una camara ideal para iniciar a jovenes aventureros.
El pack nos llega bastante completo y para novatos trae hasta un manual para los distintos soportes, muy practico.
La aplicación que usa live dv yo la uso mas para encuadrar que para otra cosa, pasar videos por wifi es tedioso con cualquier aplicación pero para ver si esta bien el. Encuadre nos sirve genial.
Por lo demas cumple sin alardes con buena luz y mejor a 1080/60 fps por su fluidez para mi uso me parece que cumple y por su relación calidad precio me gusta bastante, detalles como rosca en la propia cámara, el mando a distancia para llevarlo como reloj la hacen muy práctica e interesante.
En resumen me parece una opción recomendable siempre siendo consciente de su precio y lo que nos ofrece.

Die Qualität der Kamera ist sehr schlecht. Gibt es weniger Licht, kann man fast gar nichts sehen.
Wenn man sie aus Deutschland zurückschicken, muss man es als Gefahrgut deklarieren. Damit ist eine Einfuhr nach GB schon mal nicht möglich, und man bleibt auf seinem Geld sitzen.... und hat einen Haufen Müll.

La action cam non è male, la qualità delle immagini chiaramente è commisurata al valore economico e quindi sufficiente. Il problema serio è che questa action cam, una volta immersa in acqua, con la custodia waterprof, perde il grandangolo, in pratica è come se la lente della custodia facesse da lente di ingrandimento e quindi si riduce notevolmente il campo visivo. Peccato perché a quel prezzo non era per niente male.
